Construction and improvement
Design estimates for construction objects planned by the program for 2009 were developed in 2008.
According to the program for this year, it is planned to asphalt 350.000 square meters and fill up crack on 190.000 running meters on 110 streets.
It is planned to reinforce 5 buildings of the third accident rate:
• in the community Achapnyak – buildings N 3 on the 1st Fuchik Lane, N 2 on the 1st Margaryan Lane, N 20 on Leningradyan Sreet,
• in the community Erebuni – building N 5 on Michurin Street,
• in the community Arabkir – building N 7 on Hambardzumyan Street.
30 km of external lighting networks will be reconstructed on 8 streets:
• community Kentron –Isahakyan, Al. Manukyan and Leo Streets and Tigran Mets Avenue ( the section Khanjian-Khorenatsi),
• community Nor Nork – Totovents and Hovhannisyan Streets,
• community Nork-Marash – Hovsepyan Street,
• community Arabkir – the 29th Arabkir Street.
It is planned also to reconstruct David-Bek Street, build sewerage network in Silikyan quarter, and lay 5.7 km of new irrigation network for the purpose of irrigation of green areas in the community Nork-Marash.
For ensuring safety of pedestrians it is planned to construct a bridge in the section of crossing of the newly built Saralanji Highway and Papazyan Street.
The program is planned to finish at the end of October.
