Medical Sanitary unit № 4
It was formed in the 1930s and functioned as a medical establishment of special purpose , the task of which was health protection of the employees of chemical industry enterprises, the organization of medical aid.
Until 1981 the polyclinic served the '' Nairit '' SIU , '' Polivinilatsetat'' IU , Tyre and Cable factories and “Yerkimshin’’ trust , and since 1981 it has been completed with territorial 25 enterprises, the 7 of which belonged to the chemical sphere of the Ministry of Industry , except SIU “ Nairit ‘’ .
Since 1997 up today the Medical Sanitary department №4 of the municipality of Yerevan has a status of public corporation. It serves 4200 inhabitants within the frames of state order and contractually it serves the employees of state and private companies of Yerevan conducting preliminary and periodic medical examinations of the employees of the industrial enterprises and food sphere according to the resolutions 1089 N and 347 N of the government.

Тhe examinations are conducted at high level, scientific approach is
shown , that is testified by the scientific work performed in this
direction, there are many published articles, which were represented at
local and international conferences, the polyclinic gave two candidates
of Sciences.
The following cabinets function in the polyclinic: therapeutic, surgical, neurological, gynecological, dermatoveneral, ENT , ophthalmologic, EKG, stomatological, cardiological, X-ray, laboratory examination, ultrasonographical diagnostic, infectious and oncological diseases, endocrinological, disinfectional cabinets.
