1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published at the Yerevan Municipality official website https://www.yerevan.am/en/custom/erewani-energaardyownavetowt-yan-tsragir/ on 31 March 2020.
2. Yerevan Municipality hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends to use part of the proceeds of a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership and a loan from the European Investment Bank towards the cost of Energy Efficiency and Thermal Building Refurbishment project for the Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction works for the municipal Kindergartens.
The Employer now invites sealed tenders from Bidders for the following contracts to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:
Lot 1 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #36 and 49 kindergartens;
Lot 2 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #47, 78, 81 and 93 kindergartens;
Lot 3 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #71 and 110 kindergartens;
Lot 4 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of # 23 and 161 kindergartens;
Lot 5 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #100 and 103 kindergartens.
Time for Completion of the Works is:
Lot 1:
#36 kindergarten - 15 months.
#49 kindergarten - 20 months.
Lot 2:
#47kindergarten - 15 months.
#78 kindergarten - 20 months.
#81 kindergarten - 12 months.
#93 kindergarten - 20 months.
Lot 3
#71 kindergarten - 20 months.
#110 kindergarten - 15 months.
Lot 4
# 23 kindergarten - 15 months
#161 kindergarten - 15 months.
Lot 5:
#100 kindergarten - 15 months.
#103 kindergarten - 15 months.
The Bidders have the option to bid any lot or combination of lots.

3. International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with EIB’s Guide to Procurement (https://www.eib.org/en/publications/guide-to-procurement.htm) and ADB’s single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure with post qualification and is open to all Bidders from all countries.

5. To receive the soft version of the bidding documents in English at no cost, bidders should write to the address above requesting the bidding documents for EEK-01: Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of Kindergartens (“the Works”).
6. Deliver your bid:
• to the address above
• on or before the deadline: 14 July 2020 at 15:00 hours (local time)
• Together with a Bid Security as described in the bidding documents.
Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
