Overhead Electric Transport

The "Yerevan Electric Transport" CJSC fleet comprises 75 trolleybuses, including 60 “Yutong” and 15 “Zhongtong” models. The company currently operates five trolleybus routes—T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5—along the following routes:

Route T1: Labor Square – Jrvezh – Dzoraghbyur – Voghjaberd intersection
Labor Square (starting point) – Bagratunyats St – G. Nzhdeh St – Arshakunyats Avenue – Grigor Lusavorich St – Mashtots Avenue – Koryun St – Abovyan St – Myasnikyan Avenue – Gai Avenue – Tevosyan St – Dzoraghbyur summer cottages (Dzoraghbyur – Voghjaberd – Jrvezh intersection) (terminal point).
Return route: Same route up to Myasnikyan Avenue, then Heratsi St – Koryun St – Mashtots Avenue – Grigor Lusavorich St – Arshakunyats Avenue – Labor Square.

Route T2: Aeratsia – Erebuni district – Nubarashen
Aeratsia (starting point) – Shirak 5th Lane – Shirak St – Artashisyan St – Chekhov St – Bagratunyats St – Arshakunyats Avenue – Agatangeghos St – Tigran Mets Avenue – Artsakh Avenue – Erebuni St – “Erebuni” Museum – Aivazovsky St – Titogradyan St – Khaghagh Don St – Nubarashen Highway – Nubarashen 6th, 10th, 9th, and 11th Streets (terminal point).
Return route: Same route up to Arshakunyats Avenue, then Garegin Nzhdeh St – G. Nzhdeh Square – Bagratunyats St – continuation along the same route.

Route T3: 15th District – “Erebuni” Airport
15th District (Beknazaryan – Fuchik intersection) (starting point) – Beknazaryan St – Mazmanyan St – Shiraz St – G. Hasratyan St – Sebastia St – Bagratunyats St – G. Nzhdeh Square – Bagratunyats St – Arshakunyats Avenue – “Erebuni” Airport (terminal point).
Return route: Same route up to the Mazmanyan – Shiraz intersection, then G. Chaush St – Melkumov St – Beknazaryan – Fuchik intersection.

Route T4: Avan – Komitas Avenue – Railway Station
Avan (N. Safaryan – Tamruchi intersection) (starting point) – Tamruchi St – Babajanyan St – Acharyan St – Rubinyants St – Davit Anhaght St – Komitas Avenue – Vazgen I St – Marshal Baghramyan Avenue – Sayat-Nova Avenue – Khanjyan St – Tigran Mets Avenue – Railway Station (terminal point). 
Return route: Tigran Mets Avenue – Agatangeghos St – Grigor Lusavorich St – Mashtots Avenue – Moskovyan St – Marshal Baghramyan Avenue – then following the same route up to Babajanyan and Nver Safaryan Streets, continuing to the Tamruchi intersection.

Route T5: Nor Nork 5th District – “Barekamutyun” Metro Station – Davtashen District
Nor Nork 5th District (starting point) – B. Muradyan St – Gai Avenue – Rubinyants St – Davit Anhaght St – Komitas Avenue – Vazgen I St – Kievyan St – Halabyan St – Yeghvard Highway – Tigran Petrosyan St – Davtashen 4th Block (terminal point).
Return route: Same route up to Gai Avenue, then Tevosyan St – Galshoyan St – Mikoyan St – B. Muradyan St – Nor Nork 5th District.

An average of 59 to 60 vehicles are deployed in daily service.
In 2025, all 24 of the company's traction substations were converted to remote operation and are now managed from a single centralized control center located at 44 Bagratunyats Street. In the near future, the company plans to acquire an additional 26 modern trolleybuses equipped with in-motion charging technology. The overhead contact system and cable network are regularly renovated. In 2025, all utility poles along Myasnikyan Avenue and Acharyan Street were replaced, and the trolleybus overhead contact lines on these streets underwent a complete overhaul.
Renovation of the company's trolleybus maintenance and repair depot at 44 Bagratunyats Street is currently underway, along with the major refurbishment of the administrative buildings and the installation of perimeter fencing across the entire site.
