Results of city stage of 11th Chess Olympiad between schoolchildren of Armenia have been summarized
The teams of the schools won in the city stage of the 11th Chess Olympiad between the schoolchildren of Armenia are already known. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan, the First Deputy of the RA Chess federation, the president of Armenian Chess Academy Smbat Lputyan, the CEO of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Dalar Ghazanchyan took part in the ceremony of awarding.
The winner is the team of Yerevan basic school N55 after Chekhov. The second came the basic school N19 after Nikol Aghbalyan. The third came the team of secondary school “Usum”.
Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan handed the cups to the coaches of the won teams, and the participants were handed thanksgiving diplomas of Yerevan Municipality.
We'd like to note that the teams of 176 educational institutions took part in the district stage of the Chess Olympiad held in the autumn of 2016. 10 teams got the right to take part in the city stage. The winners of this stage will compete in the republican stage in May.
