About 750 chess players are participating in the 8th memorial chess tournament dedicated to Andranik Margaryan
Yerevan Mayor, the President of Yerevan Chess Federation Taron Margaryan visited the Chess Academy of Armenia where he watched the 8th memorial tournament dedicated to late RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan.
About 750 chess players are participating in the tournament held from 9 to 17 of January. Accompanied by the director of the academy, the vice-president of the Chess Federation of Armenia Smbat Lputyan Mayor Taron Margaryan walked about the hall where the tournament was held and watched the process of the tournament. Smbat Lputyan noted that young boys and girls from all provinces of Armenia, Artsakh as well as Russia and Turkmenistan are taking part in the tournament. The sport event is held in 9 stages.
