During the regular working meeting in Yerevan City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality staff and the heads of administrative districts to start the arrangement of servicemen’s parents to the frontier military units where their sons are serving in the army. The visit s scheduled for April 28.
“For the 5th year running it has become a good tradition to organize twice a year the visits of parents of servicemen from Yerevan to the frontier military units. It should be noted that our initiative carried out jointly with the RA Ministry of Defence is aimed at strengthening of the ties between the army and the society and both the parents and their children and our partners consider it to be inspirational. So, it's necessary to ensure proper organization of the visit scheduled for April 28 jointly with the RA Ministry of Defence and the Road Police. Pay particular attention to including all the parents willing to visit their sons in the program”, stressed Mayor Taron Margaryan.
During the meeting the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City Hall and the heads of administrative districts were assigned by Mayor Taron Margaryan to make preparations for the Holy Easter feast cooperating with the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese.
