Following the decision of Yerevan Council of Elders made on October 11, on the event of the 2799th anniversary of the capital, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan solemnly handed the title of “Honorary Citizen of Yerevan” to the film director, the RA People’s Artist Artavazd Peleshyan; to the TV presented, the ArmSSR People’s Artist Nara Shlepchyan; to the writer, public figure Razmik Davoyan and the Manager General of “VivaCell-MTS” company Ralf Yirikyan.
Congratulating the new honorary citizens of Yerevan and handing them the certificates Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed gratitude for their significant contribution and outstanding services in various spheres and noted that it is actually a special appreciation of the devoted work of each of them.
The ArmSSR People’s Artist Nara Shlepchyan on behalf of others expressed gratitude for the appreciation assuring that they will go on working with the same devotion and enthusiasm for the sake of Yerevan.
