The specialists of “Surb Astvatsamayr” (“Holy Mother of God”) Medical Centre saved the life of the two-year-old boy the parents of which came to Armenia from Syria. Three months ago Narek fell out of his pram and lost consciousness. With a traumatic brain injury the boy was brought to the municipal MC “Surb Astvatsamayr”. The complicated surgery lasted three hours and passed successfully though the boy had little chances to survive.

According to the boy’s father, Nerses Kevo (Gevorgyan), the child stayed in resuscitation department for 20 days, he was connected to respirator. Owing to the specialists’ efforts, the boy recovered.
On March 7 he was operated on for the second time. Today Narek already smiles, understands everything and tries to speak and do his first steps.
