Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development David Lokyan and the RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan watched the final of “Best sport family” competition for the RA President's Prize at the stadium of the main Olympic sport complex of Tsaghkadzor. This competition has been held for the 13th year running. The governors and other officials were present at the even a well.
“ Best sport family 2016” competition was held in three stages. 4 age groups competed in 7 kinds of sport. 144 families from Yerevan, RA provinces and Artsakh successfully passed the first stages entered the final. 22 families with a disabled member took part in the final stage too. In the total score the families from Yerevan got 2006 scores and achieved the first place, being awarded with the RA President's Prize for the 4th year running. The RA President's Cup was handed to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan by the RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs.
Congratulating the participants of Yerevan team on the victory Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that Yerevan Municipality will always support the sport loving residents of Yerevan and will do its best to emphasize the importance of physical education, to develop mass sport promoting this way the healthy life style.
