The control over illegal street trade exclusion is going on in the capital. During the regular working meeting the Mayor was reported that 37 protocols on administrative violations were drawn up. To activate the struggle against illegal fish selling in the streets Yerevan Municipality in teamwork with the inspection body of the nature and underground resources of the RA Ministry of Nature Protection and the RA Police carries out inspections in the capital. As a result of the inspections about 300 kg of fish was confiscated last week.

334 procurement procedures were announced for the need of Yerevan Municipality from the city budget. The Mayor was reported that the results of 125 procurements had been summarized., and as a result contracts were signed on the total amount of AMD 5 milliard 119 million, and AMD 760 million was saved.
Stressing the importance of proper organization of the citywide Saturday clean-up “Clean Armenia” announced for March 23, Mayor Marutyan stressed that the initiative is of high public significance.
On the Mayor’s instruction, this year the activities of dismantling the festive illumination were organized at night hours so as not to hinder the traffic. Hayk Marutyan expressed gratitude to the employees of “Yerkaghluys” CJSC and to the Road Police for the work done.
As regards the activities carried out within the frames of the international loan programs the Mayor of the capital was reported that they are going on in accordance with the schedule. In particular, the road segment connecting Davtashen to Ashtarak has been over and the construction of Babajanyan-Ashtarak segment is going on. Within the scope of the program of the street lighting modernization a treaty was signed and the design activities have been started. The activities within the scope of energy efficiency increase program are going on in accordance with the schedule. Within the scope the program 48 municipal kindergartens will be overhauled within the frames of the program and in 100 ones measures will be taken to increase energy efficiency.
