Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman with the delegation headed by the RA President Serzh Sargsyan. The Mayor of Yerevan and his Amman colleague, Mayor Akel Biltaji signed the treaty of declaration Yerevan and Amman sister cities.

According to the treaty signed in the presence of the presidents of the two countries the capitals of Armenia and Jordan are obliged to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and experience exchange in the spheres of local self-government, investment attraction, hard wastes management and water supply and in some other spheres of urban economy.
