Within the frames of the official visit to Artsakh the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with Stepanakert Mayor Suren Grigoryan. Expressing gratitude to Yerevan Mayor for permanent readiness and efforts made in the issue of strengthening and expansion of effective cooperation between the two capitals, Suren Grigoryan assured that the residents of Stepanakert attach particular importance to tight cooperation with Yerevan, the results of which are obvious and noticeable for each resident of Stepanakert.

“Mister Mayor, it’s really delightful to state the fact that our interaction is effectively developing in all directions and the results are noticeable. And your personal contribution is significant in all this. I also want to stress the importance of interaction established between the administrative districts of Yerevan and districts of Artsakh. I also want to outline that the support of Yerevan gradually becomes visible in the districts of Artsakh too”, said Suren Grigoryan and taking the opportunity congratulated Yerevan Mayor on being re-elected on his office and wished lots of new success, expressing confidence that from the point of view of effective use of potential and harmonic development of Yerevan the further years will open new perspectives for cooperation.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and congratulations Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn noted that the programs fulfilled by the teams of the two capitals which got positive assessment, in fact serve as a basis for future more large-scale programs to be implemented by joint efforts.
“The friendly relationship between the two capitals is reflected in the program of cooperation established between Yerevan and Stepanakert. The process of the program of cooperation is satisfactory and what is very important, it gives significant results in various spheres of urban economy. Since 2012,together with our Artsakh colleagues, we have been implementing numerous programs aimed at Artsakh development of the spheres of culture, education, social welfare, health, humanitarian, tourism. Be sure that Yerevan Municipality is always next to you and is ready to assist our partners from Stepanakert contributing to the development of Artsakh capital”, said Taron Margaryan.
