I felt pain to know that the RA Distinguished Architect, the author of the Emblem of Yerevan Albert Sokhikyan passed away. the eminent painter and architect had his special role in the cultural life of Armenia. Albert Sokhikyan had great contribution to the spiritual and cultural formation of the capital. In 1993-97 he was the Chief Artist of Yerevan. I send my deep condolences to the family, nearest and dearest of Albert Sokhikyan.
