The third last stage of the program «For the children of Yerevan» has been organized by the Municipality of Yerevan and the benevolent non=governmental organization “Armenian mothers». 17 children with cerebral palsy are going to get a month of art therapy after one-month course of chemiotherapy. During the course of art therapy the children are going to work with sand and clay. "We we were starting the project we didn't expect such a result. The program has appeared more effective and useful than it had been expected. Free courses of therapy for unwed mothers were not only a financial support. Thw whole program was a great psychological aid. Due to this program such mothers have overcome various psychological problems and made sure that they are not alone. It was a wonderful program", said the leader of the NGO "Armenian mothers" Narineh Manukyan. The course of art-therapy called "A house of dream" is held in the office of the NGO «Armenian mothers». The Mayor's Assistant Samvel Mertarjyan visited the beneficiaries on the day of the final stage of the program and informed that the program will be continued. «Summarizing the program we talked to t mothers and discussed the importance of supporting this program in the future with the specialists. As such programs are at the focus of attention of the Municipality of Yerevan, in the future this program will be more inclusive», said the Mayor's Assistant. Samvel Mertarjyan presented the children attending "The house of dream" with souvenirs symbolizing "Erebuni-Yerevan 2796".
