During the regular meeting in Yerevan the departments of external design and advertising, of urban development and land control and the tourism unit of the Municipality were instructed by Mayor Taron Margaryan to discuss and submit within a short time the suggestions for creation of information support desks for tourists.
“Taking into account that every year the tourist flows to the capital are increasing and that this year numerous events are to be held within the scope of celebration of the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation which will certainly attract ever more tourists, it’s obvious that information support desks for tourists needed to be set in the center of Yerevan. Therefore, necessary activities are to be carried out within a short time so that such information desks will be provided both for townspeople and guests of the capital”,said Taron Margaryan.
With another instruction Yerevan Mayor public WCs will be installed in the places of tourist interest in collaboration with the private sector.
