At the behest of the chairman of the City Commission of Amman Yusuf Al Shavarbeh the delegation headed by Yerevan Deputy Mayor David Ohanyan visited the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to take part in Amman summer festival held on July 11-14.
During the visit a number of meetings of Yerevan delegation with the chairman of the City Commission of Amman Yusuf Al Shavarbeh and officials of Amman Municipality were held.
Conveying Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan’s greetings to the head of Amman City Commission, Deputy Mayor David Ohanyan once again assured that Yerevan Municipality is ready to develop the cooperation with Amman. A number of issues of bilateral interaction were discussed during the meeting too.
Within the scope of the visit to the Armenian church of Amman Surb Tadevos the meeting of the Patriarchal Vicar of Armenian community Avetis Ipradjyan with the representatives of the Armenian community of Amman was held.
