Yerevan Mayor renders memory tribute to great Armenian composer Komitas

Within the scope of Yerevan Days held in Saint Petersburg from 6 to 8 of August, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan who is in the northern capital of Russia with an official visit, accompanied by the RA General Consul in Saint Petersburg Hrayr Karapetyan and the head of the official representation of Yerevan Municipality in Saint Petersburg Armenak Karapetyan and the representatives of the official delegation rendered the memory tribute to the founder of Armenian classical music school, the great Armenian composer Komitas.
The monument to Komitas was erected in Vasileostrovski district of Saint Petersburg within the frames of the Armenian Genocide Centennial becoming another evidence of indestructible friendship and mutual respect of the two nations.
