Within the frames of the working visit to Ajapnyak district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan familiarized himself with the process of improvement being fulfilled within the scope the municipal programs provided for 2016. Accompanied by the head of the administrative district the Mayor visited the building site of the road leading from Silikyan highway to “Haghtanak” living quarter. The Mayor was reported that the segment of the road connecting Ajapnyak and Malatia Sebastia administrative districts which used to be badly damaged for years, is being overhauled at the moment. The persons in charge outlined that the program was really awaited particularly taking into account that this segment of the road connects the cemeteries “Shahumyan 1” and “Shanumyan 2”, “Spandaryan” and “Haghtanak”.
Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to finish the work in accordance with the schedule and to keep the quality of work under tight control.
“Within the recent 20 year this segment of the road was only partially repaired and this whole road was in highly bad condition. The cemeteries are next to one another and such condition created obstacles for those people who visited this area. Consequently, we have included these activities in the list of priority improvement tasks provided by the current year program and as you can see, the process is going on. After the work, is over this road will become an important hub connecting Ajapnyak and Malatia Sebastia districts, which in its turn will significantly relieve the traffic in Hasratyan and Leningradyan streets”, said the Mayor.
Mayor Taron Margaryan also visited the yard area at 10, Shiraz where improvement activities are going on. Presenting the Mayor the process of fulfillment the persons in charge noted that with the aim of this program implementation 12 metallic and 1 stone garages had been dismantled. Owing to the improvement this are will become a special recreation area for the dwellers being furnished with benches, modern playing attractions and sport equipment. The residents expressed gratitude to the Mayor for consistent implementation of yard improvement program stressing that they are looking forward to finishing the process and having a well-arranged yard. Mayor Taron Margaryan once again stressed that all the municipal programs are aimed at making the capital more comfortable and more attractive. The Mayor expressed gratitude to the residents who became partners with the Municipality and at their own initiative free the areas occupied by them.
“I want to express my gratitude to all co-citizens, who treat our programs with understanding and often have their garages dismantled so that their yard could become well-arranged. A good tradition has been formed: our coordinated work with the residents has become effective and successful», said the Mayor.
