French oncologic center has opened in Yerevan

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of opening of the French oncologic center in Yerevan. The honour of opening of the new medical center was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the eminent French oncologist, physician, the head of the medical center Norbert Avetyan.
The centre opened by the initiative of “Norman” foundation and Norbert Avetyan will provide treatment of oncologic patients in accordance with the European standards with application of the methods of the eminent doctor Norbert Avetyan.
Stressing the particular importance of opening the center in the capital the participants of the event noted that now people suffering this serious illness will not have to go abroad for treatment. It was also noted that the doctor who was treating numerous patients from Armenia in France will now on developing his professional activity in homeland.
Accompanied by the persons in charge Mayor Taron Margaryan walked about the premises of the center, familiarized himself with the conditions and possibilities It was outlined that the center is provided with all up-to-date equipment necessary for rendering high-quality medical services.
It should be noted that the center will provide assistance to the people with cancer and their families helping them raise financial means for treatment.
