In Yerevan: Mausoleum of Urartian Period
A unique mausoleum of the Urartian period dated as far back as 8th century BC is located at Arshakunyats avenue in Yerevan.
It was discovered in 1984 during the construction of “Autoagregat” plant. Among findings there were urns, jewelry, stamps and other items which are preserved and displayed at the historical and archaeological reserve-museum “Erebuni”.
The admission to the mausoleum located near ‘Yerevan Mall” is free.
