The second tourist information support and citizens’ service center has been opened in Yerevan

The second tourist information support and citizen’s service center has been opened today at 2/5 Baghramyan avenue by Yerevan Municipality tourism division.

The head of the tourism division Gevorg Orbelyan marked in his speech, “The aim of the project is to help our citizens and guests of the capital to get necessary information on the tourist infrastructures and the services provided by the Municipality. We expect both our citizens and guests of the capital to make active use of the center. We attach importance to this project implementation particularly this year as it’s jubilee year for Yerevan”.
The info centers will provide visitors with free multilingual maps, info leaflets, guidebooks of “Yerevan summer 2018” program of three-month events, community museums, “Yerevan City Tour” excursions, Yerevan Zoo, as well as with information of the e-services provided by Yerevan Municipality, schedules of citizens’ receptions, “Hot line” service, and guidebooks referring to construction permissions ad urban development documentation.
In March of the current year Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the corresponding departments of the Municipality to discuss and submit proposals on installation of info centers in Yerevan. And in June the first info center was opened at 2/1 Nalbandyan street in the area near “republic square” metro station.
