The final event of the three-month program of the Municipality “Yerevan summer” was the concert called “To school, to university, to work”. A number of Armenian popular singers took part in the concert.
Greeting those present Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan on behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan thanked all the participants as well as all the individuals and organizations which supported the Municipality in the implementation of this three-month program.
The event started with an unexpected flash-mob around the Swan’s Lake. Numerous citizens joint the action.
“Summarizing the various events included in this year’s “Yerevan summer” program and taking into account the activity of townspeople and the guests of the capital we can say that the Municipality of Yerevan has succeeded to provide lively and exciting summer for those who were spending their summer holidays in Yerevan. Some of the event may become traditional and this will be the achievement of “Yerevan summer 2014", said the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan.
