On December 22,2017 the international rating agency Fitch Ratings reconsidered and increased the rating of Yerevan on “B+” level from “Stable” to “Positive” which is an important achievement for the community which takes its first steps to adopting independent credit policy.
Fitch Ratings agency considers this fact as a positive change in credit worthiness of Yerevan.

It should be noted that in the beginning of December 2017 the rating agency Fitch Ratings confirmed the rating of Yerevan in the sphere of public finances on the level “B+”,”Stable”.
