French culture days in music and art schools
Prior to the 17th Summit of the International Organization of the Francophonie to be held in Yerevan, the French culture days are going on in Yerevan municipal art and music schools within the frames of two-month events.
During the classical music event organized in the music school after Alexander Hekimyan the best pupils of the school presented the works by French classical composers in vocal, instrumental and brass band performance. In the art school after Sargis Barkhudaryan the pupils performed the event called “An octave in French”. The pupils of instrumental, dance art, vocal and drama art departments came up with interesting performances. An episode from Henry Verneuil’s “Mayrik” novel was presented at the end of the event.
