Within the frames of the treaty on friendship between Yerevan and Stepanakert signed in 2012 Mayor Taron Margaryan attached particular importance to establishment and strengthening cooperation between the administrative districts of Yerevan and NKR. In this context, during his visit to the NKR in July the head of Nor Nork district Armen Ulikhanyan made an agreement with the administration of the NKR district of Kashatagh to establish cooperation with Nor Nork district.
To realize the program transferring it to the practical stage Armen Ulikhanyan had a meeting with the delegation led by the head of Kashatagh district Suren Khachatryan arrived in Yerevan.
Greeting the guests Armen Ulikhanyan noted that the memorandum to be signed within the frames of the visit will give a new stimulus to bilateral cooperation. During the meeting the head of Nor Nork district Armen Ulikhanyan and the head of Kashatagh Suren Khachatryan signed the memorandum on cooperation according to which it is provided for to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in different directions. Particularly the spheres of education, culture, management experience exchange and some other spheres were outlined.
The parties expressed confidence that all the priorities outlined in the memorandum will get a program development and discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of joint projects.
