During the regular working conference Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that systematic control is being kept over the process of purchases and over the terms and the quality of work implemented by the organizations won in corresponding competitions. The head of the Department of Purchases reported that 95 % of the competitions announced with the aim of implementation of corresponding activities within the frames of Yerevan budget of 2014 had been held. Some savings have been made as a result of the competitions. The Mayor instructed to set tight control over the quality of work and in case of defects revelation to take appropriate steps.
The process of cleaning and improvement of badly arranged areas by their owners, leasers and developers is going on in the capital. The previous week 16 administrative records had been drawn up. It was instructed to carry out regular inspections to keep the process under control.

Referring to the process of sanitary cleaning of the streets, parks and yard areas Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that the arrangement of these activities is not satisfactory at weekends and on holidays and instructed to take actions.
Regarding the process of landscaping in the area adjacent to the new road connecting Leningradyan street and Isakov avenue it was reported the process had mainly been over. The Mayor instructed all the persons in charge including the heads of the 12 administrative districts of the capital to join efforts and finish the whole process and get ready for the road operation.

Referring to the cases of tree cutting in the area of Republican hospital in Ajapnyak district it was reported that those trees were within a private area.The representative of the owner said that it had been done as a tree protection means, but the ecologists consider such activities improper. So a report was directed to the RA Ministry of Nature Protection so that corresponding actions will be taken.
The Mayor stressed that no building permissions should be given in the areas, even private ones, where there are green areas, especially trees.
The Mayor also instructed the persons in charge to keep at focus the process of presenting private land plots at auctions. The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that 24 non-operating pavilions had been dismantled within the two previous weeks. Regarding the reconstruction of the walkways in North avenue the Mayors noted that the process had come downs and demanded to regulate the work and put the segments into operation one after another.

It was reported that the inventory of the community-owned buildings and constructions that require repairing had been carried out in the administrative districts. The Mayor instructed to prepare draft estimates to include the projects in the city budget of 2015.

Regarding the “Yerevan summer” program the Mayor was submitted the brief program of the actions. The Mayor instructed to discuss the new proposals and include them in the list of events.
On the Day of Children’s Defense, June 1 a number of events have been provided.In particular, chalk drawing is to be held in Azatutyan square from 11.00 till 13.00, and from 17.00 till 20.00 a concert is to be held in the same place.Festive actions for children are to be held in the Zoo where children’s entrance will be free of charge. From 10.00 till 13.00 children’s attractions will be free of charge in Children’s railway and in “Haghtanak” park (25 attractions).From 12.00 till 14.00 sport events are to be held.
