During the regular working conference in the City Hall of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that the control was going on over the terms of responding the letters sent by the citizens and state structures to the Municipality and to the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts.
Regarding the receptions organized in the City Hall and the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts it was reported that 710 citizens participated in the receptions in May. The raised issues were given irrefragable answers and corresponding solutions.
Concerning the responses to the phone calls received by hot lines functioning in corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality of Yerevan, in the services subordinated to the Municipality and at the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts it was reported that the previous week 167 and 97 phone calls had been received correspondingly. The majority of the raised questions were given appropriate solutions.
Concerning the process of landscaping and flowering of the capital the head of the Department of Nature Protection reported that 800 flower seedlings had been distributed in the administrative districts. Activities directed at irrigation systems expansion are being carried out as well. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to set control over the process of landscaping ensuring proper results as soon as possible.
Concerning the process of construction of the new motorway connecting Isakov avenue and Leningradyan street it was reported that the improvement and landscaping activities in this area had been completed. At the moment the process of road marking and placement of road signs are going on here. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to carry on improvement activities in the area adjacent to the new museum after Nansen in the administrative district of Nor Nork.
Regarding the process of organization of the final exams in the schools subordinated to the Municipality the head of the Department of General Education reported that the employees of the department carry out regular inspections. Up today no complaints have been registered. The Mayor instructed to go on control over the process and report on it regularly.
It was also reported that in the municipality subordinated kindergartens all children are given writing materials and school bags.
Taron Margaryan also instructed to keep the quality of the services rendered in policlinics at focus. Regarding the organization of recreation of the children from needy families residing in Yerevan in sport and health camps it as reported that 1175 children are to have a rest this year. It should be noted that the previous year 850 children had had a rest within the scope of this program of the RA Government. The Mayor instructed the heads of the administrative districts to pay regular visits to the camps and familiarized themselves with the conditions created for children on spot.
During the conference it was also reported that the events provided by «Yerevan summer» project are also going on.
