It has been instructed to keep the activities provided for by the programs of 2018 under permanent control

During the working meeting in Yerevan City Hall the head of External Design and Advertising Department reported 15 proposals had been made via social media websites referring to the green lit pharmacy boards placed in the street junctions of the capital which could be mixed up with the green light of traffic lights. It was also added that appropriate studies were carried out and solutions were found.

The head of Communal Services Department reported that to fulfil Mayor Taron Margaryan’s instruction the damages caused by the strong wind occurred on March 24 in the city economy had been inventoried and necessary measures had been taken to eliminate the consequences. It was also reported that by the Mayor’s instruction sanitary cleaning, well-arrangement activities are being carried out in the area of Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex, as well as necessary measures are being taken to ensure proper organization of the events dedicated to the Commemoration Day of the Victims of the Armenian Genocide on April 24.
It was also reported that the reconstruction of the park dedicated to the 2750th anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan, as well as the renovation of the tunnel entrance of Mashtots avenue and capital renovation of the drainage systems were going on in accordance with the schedule.
In accordance with the programs provided for 2018, overhauling of yard areas and playgrounds, construction of wheelchair ramps and repairing of damaged balconies are carried on. The persons in charge were instructed to keep the quality and terms of work under permanent supervision.
It was also reported that the control over obligatory improvement of the surrounding areas by entrepreneurs is going on as it is required by the decision made by Yerevan Council of Elders. In this regard 19 protocols were drawn up last month. The executives and the heads of administrative districts were instructed to carry on the control and to take necessary measures if needed.
