During the weekly working meeting, following the suggestion of the RA Government to organize a Republican-wide Saturday clean-up action within the frames of “Clean Armenia” program, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the Department of Communal Services of the Municipality, the heads of administrative districts and all municipal organizations to organize and hold the citywide clean-up on October 21. The persons in charge were instructed to provide active participation of the employees of the Municipality and administrative districts as well as the organizations subordinated to Yerevan Municipality. 

During the meeting Taron Margaryan instructed the Department of Nature protection, Department of Communal Services, “Sanitek” company, the operative headquarters and the heads of administrative districts to organize the process of cleaning away tree leaves in the streets, parks and yards. The persons in charge were also instructed to set tight control to prevent burning of piled leaves.
Mayor’s Assistant Maria Baraghamyan reported that within the frames of “Clean Yerevan” program being carried out by Yerevan Municipality the previous week about 100 addresses were fixed in social network websites which were conveyed the operative headquarter and “Sanitek”.
