During the working meeting conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan the Municipality Staff Secretary Sergey Makaryan reported that in the period from January 1 to August 31 of 2017 103 thousand 990 applications and messages were received in Yerevan Municipality from the citizens and state departments. 63952 of them are applications received from citizens. According to the Staff Secretary, 1376 letters were marked “Personal” and were handed to Yerevan Mayor in person.
At the same time it was noted that 81% of the letters got positive solution,9% was still under discussion and regarding 10% of rejected letters it was reported that they were beyond Municipality powers ad were addressed to competent legal structures. It was also reported that summarizing the applications, personal letters, phone calls received by Yerevan Municipality “Hot line” service and the problems raised by 6370 residents during the receptions organized in the staffs of the heads of administrative districts 83221 instructions were totally given. it was mentioned that no violation of the terms determined for meeting the given instructions concerning applications and letters was fixed. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to keep the process under permanent control.
