The meeting with the representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia was held in Yerevan City Hall. The issues related to providing full information, security and arrangement of events for Iranian tourists who are arriving in Yerevan in the last ten days of March, were discussed during the meeting.

The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Ruben Hovhannisyan, the head of tourism unit Gevorg Orbelyan, the Consul of IRI to Armenia Mokhtar Shahuseyni, the First Secretary of the Embassy Huseyn Shirhani took part in the meeting.
The head of tourism unit of the Municipality Gevorg Orbelyan presenting the events scheduled for March 21-31 and organized by Yerevan Municipality noted that in particular they planned to start the city tourist route “Yerevan City Tour”, to hold an exhibition dedicated to the cultural heritage of Iran in Yerevan History Museum. Thematic boards are to be prepared and installed as well.
During the meeting they also discussed the issues related to Iranian tourists security particularly in the places of interest situated in the territory of the capital.
