How to ensure full halls with one poster: marketing recommendations for employees of museums and theaters

On the initiative of Yerevan Municipality, a five-day management training has been organized for the employees of theaters and museums, during which leading specialists from different spheres shared their experience in art-management.

The series of meetings was opened by the Chairman of the International Theater fest “Hay-Fest” Arthur Ghukasyan. The discussion of mutually beneficial cooperation between art and Mass Media was held by the Chief-editor of the “Aravot” newspaper, TV commentator Aram Abrahamyan.
“If you have exhibitions and openings to interest people, Mass Media will be willing to tell about it”, said Aram Abrahamyan.
Stressing the importance of holding such meetings the Chairman of the Board of the RA Public TV and Radio Company Ruben Jaghinyan noted that the ties between TV company and museums has become weaker and it’s necessary to take actions.
“Currently, Public TV is trying to preserve and propagate classical values presenting them in a new way. Theaters and museums should do the same to get desirable results”, mentioned Ruben Jaghinyan.
The photographer, graphic designer Arvin Kocharyan and the co-founder of “Braind” company told about successful projects in the sphere of theater and museum marketing.
“How to ensure full halls with a single poster? Proper branding is an important investment which will ensure the future of cultural centres”, said the specialists adding that this initiative is very important for the Municipality.
According to media expert Samvel Martirosyan, appropriate advertising in social networks can play an important role in development of these spheres. Samvel Martirosyan familiarized the participants of the seminar with the skills of social networking.
Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan expressed gratitude to all specialists for the participation and experience exchange with the personnel of theaters and museums. Such initiatives will be continuative.
