Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation headed by the Mayor of Pasadena (USA) Terry Tornek. Greeting the Mayor and the members of the delegation Mayor Taron Margaryan presented in brief the history of Yerevan and the system of management of the country stressing that currently within the program of Yerevan development serious steps are being taken to ensure development in various spheres of urban economy. Stressing the role and significance of the Armenians of Diaspora in strengthening the ties with homeland Mayor Taron Margaryan attached particular importance to the participation of the representatives of the Armenian community playing important role in the city management who are involved in the delegation of the Mayor of Pasadena.

Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek outlined that the Armenian community of Pasadena really contribute to the city development. Sharing his impressions Pasadena Mayor said that he had had a walk round evening Yerevan and made sure that Yerevan is a warm, safe and cosy city indeed.
