Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the CEO of “Grand Thornton France” and the founder of “Grand Thornton Armenia” Daniel Kurkdjian and the representatives of the company which the leading one among international audit, taxes and consulting companies. Attaching particular importance to the company's worldwide activity Mayor Taron Margaryan outlined that it's really noticeable when the founders of such companies are Armenians who can this way have certain contribution to their homeland. Presenting the programs of Yerevan Municipality aimed at the improvement of urban economy management Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that the Municipality attach particular importance to implementation of joint projects with the private sector and outlined that in this regard there is willingness for mutually beneficial cooperation.
“We attach particular importance to establishment and expansion of cooperation both with local and various international establishments and we will be glad if your company takes part in the issue of investment attraction to Yerevan”, said Taron Margaryan adding that nowadays significant measures are taken in the capital to improve business environment and to attract investments.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and for introducing Yerevan development programs in person the CEO of “Grand Thornton France” and the founder of “Grand Thornton Armenia” Daniel Kurkdjian stressed the importance of Yerevan Mayor's attitudes towards urban economy management noting that the results are noticeable in Yerevan today.
The head of “Grand Thornton Armenia” Gagik Gyulbudaghyan who was present at the meeting presented the activity and programs of the company to Yerevan Mayor and noted they are among the top list of independent audit,taxex and consulting companies of the world and have representations in Many countries.
“Mister Mayor, it's important for us to have our contribution to economical developement of Armenia and I assure that we will do our best to present the investment projects of Yerevan and to attract investments”, said Gagik Gyulbudaghyan.
At the end of the meeting Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated the guests on the 20th anniversary of “Grand Thornton Armenia” foundation and assured once again that Yerevan Municipality is open and willing to assist within its powers in various initiatives of the company.
