Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Ivan Volinkin who is finishing his diplomatic mission in our country. Outlining the current high level of Armenian-Russian relationship Mayor Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the role of the ambassadors of Russia to Armenia and of Armenia to Russia. Expressing gratitude for fruitful cooperation and joint work the Mayor expressed confidence that the cooperation formed between Yerevan Municipality and the Embassy will keep on being constructive and successful.

Having thanked for warm welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Ivan Volinkin said that it was a honour for him to take his office in Armenia and stressed that during these years he felt at home in Yerevan. Taking the opportunity Ivan Volinkin thanked Yerevan Mayor for effective cooperation with the Embassy throughout these five years.
At the end of the meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan wished the Ambassador good luck in his further activity.
