The solemn ceremony of opening of the fifth «Armenia-Diaspora» congress took place at the national Academic theater of Opera and ballet after A. Spendiaryan. His Holiness All Armenian Catholicose Garegin B, His Holiness Catholicose of Cilicia, the NKR President Bako Sahakyan, the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, other officials and numerous guests were present at the event. This year more than 1000 representatives from 60 countries applied for the participation in the fifth «Armenia-Diaspora» congress. The congress started with a full meeting during which those present delivered their speeches.
