Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated George Kepenekyan on being elected Mayor of Lyon (France) which is the partner city of Yerevan. The address particularly says, “My respectable colleague, on behalf of Yerevan citizens and in person I’d like to congratulate you on being elected Mayor of Lyon and wish you success in your responsible work for the benefit of residents of Lyon. During the recent years the municipalities of the two cities carried out numerous joint programs and I highly appreciate your role in strengthening our ties with Lyon. Confirming my readiness to strengthen and expand the friendship and business ties I invite you to visit Yerevan where you are always welcome”.
Later Mayor Taron Margaryan had a telephone talk with George Kepenekyan during which the Mayor once again congratulated his colleague and expressed his best regards.
