Exhibition of works of art by people with disabilities has been opened in Yerevan City Hall
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of works of art by people with disabilities which was opened in Yerevan City Hall on the event of International Day of Disabled People. The participants of the event were greeted by “Paros” choir of the “Unison” NGO.
For the participation in the art exhibition organized by Yerevan Municipality on the event of the International Day of Disabled People and in the concert program, as well as for active participation in organizational activities of the exhibition and conducting the concert program a number of people were awarded with Yerevan Mayor’s thanksgiving diplomas. Mayor Taron Margaryan also handed diplomas to the sportsmen of the Paralympic games who upheld the honour of Yerevan with their performance.
During this already traditional exhibition works of art such as paintings, drawing, tapestries, sculptures and other samples of handicraft created by 28 artists of the Armenian Union of Disabled People “Pyunik” and “Prkutyun” NGO were exhibited. The exhibition is open from 5 to 8 of December.
