Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan received the representatives of the TUMO team. The issues related to the implementation of “EU TUMO Convergence Centre for Engineering and Applied Science” which is carried in association of the European Union and the TUMO.

The architectural design of the future building of the centre which has the area of 25.000 sq m will be handled by MVRDV studio founded by famous Dutch architect Wini Maas. During the meeting Mr. Wini Maas presented the design project according to which the complex will combine several facilities: TUMO labs, 42 Yerevan, the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics of French University in Armenia, general hubs, co-financed areas and conference halls. The complex is adjacent to the area of the new metro station which is currently in the phase of drafting. Plans for the new facility will be completed this spring.
