Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of handing awards of the RA Government of 2016 in the sphere of quality assurance of production and services. According to the organizers, holding the ceremony on March 3, the birthday of eminent entrepreneur and benefactor Alexander Mantashyants is aimed at making traditional the celebration of Entrepreneurs' Day in the republic. The event will also be directed at the promotion of national production in standardization as well as instillation of national standards in local production.

Taking the opportunity the director of the Center for Sociological Research “Sociometer”, sociologist Aharon Adibekyan expressed gratitude to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan for long-term implementation of city programs aimed at increasing the quality of services in the capital stressing that as a result of the mentioned activities, in accordance with the estimates of the leading international organizations, Yerevan has been included in the top 10 safest cities of the world. Besides, many foreign tourist agencies represent the capital of Armenia as a preferable comfortable city.
