At the initiative of the city authorities of the capital of Estonia the meeting-discussion of the representatives of Yerevan Municipality and Tallinn Municipality was held.
Deputy Staff Secretary of Yerevan Municipality Arthur Karapetyan greeted the members of the delegation headed by Tallinn Municipality Secretary Tomas Sepp and presented in brief the reforms carried out in the system of governance of the capital stressing that in this regard particular attention is paid at increasing the quality of services and ensuring of the work transparency. Outlining the particular importance of international experience study and its localization Arthur Karapetyan noted that experience exchange is periodically organized between partner and sister-cities. The Deputy Staff Secretary also added that Yerevan Municipality is always open and ready for cooperation.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome Tallinn Municipality Secretary, the chairman of the Executive Board of Tallinn center for development and experience Tomas Sepp in his turn noted that the meeting of the representatives of two cities gives a fine opportunity for experience exchange related to the reforms of the system of regional management, municipal services and urban economics. Tomas Sepp assured that the city authorities of Tallinn are ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with Yerevan Municipality.
During the meeting the parties made bilateral agreement to discuss the possibilities and ways of cooperation expansion.
