Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan introduced the new head of Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district Karen Hakobyan to the staff. Expressing gratitude to the staff representatives for the work done up today the Mayor referred to the problems rooted in the district during the recent years, in particular outlining illegal construction, landscaping, organization of safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians. As an example he pointed out to the fact that illegal car parking is located just in front of the City Hall and cars pass over pedestrian crossings to get parked. “We can’t demand keeping public order of the citizens if we break the law ourselves and create inconveniences for townspeople”, said the Mayor and instructed to remove the illegal parking. Turning to the nee head and the staff of the district Hayk Marutyan stressed that he expects careful and transparent work. “Today we must work with maximal diligence. There are loads of problems to be solved and to get the results we have to reach the zero point first and to develop afterwards”, said the Mayor.
