The first festival of ethnographic songs and dances «Gutan» has taken place in Yerevan. The ethno-groups such as "Akunk", "Sasun", «Maratuk", "Karin", "Sasna Tsrer", "Tarontsiner", "Msho havker", "Van" and others performed the Armenian songs and dances, as well as the songs and dances of different parts of historical Armenia, some fragments of rituals. The event became a real festival from the very beginning. The organizers thanked the Municipality and other state structures for the support in the organization of the fest. "We are very glad that another amazing fest has taken place in Yerevan. I am sure that it will become traditional. The enthusiasm of the audience and the active participation of the groups witness it. I assure you that the Municipality of Yerevan will go on promoting such initiatives", said the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan. The fest organized by the national music center «Miro» was held in the architectural complex "Cascade", in Gafestchyan art center.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the event too.
