During the regular working conference in the City Hall, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan instructed the corresponding departments and units of the Municipality to prepare the program of events aimed at spring tourism stimulation in the capital.
In particular, taking into account the growth of tourist flows from Iran to Yerevan during the last ten days of March, the tourism unit and the Department of Culture of the Municipality were assigned to get ready for starting the city tourism program “Yerevan City Tour”, and to organize an event dedicated to the cultural heritage of Iran in Yerevan History Museum from 21 to 31 of Yerevan. The Department of External Design and Advertising has been instructed to prepare and install thematic boards in teamwork with the tourism unit.
The Departments of Communal Services, Transport and public order security service jointly with the Road Police were instructed to strengthen the control over the services in the places of tourists interest located in the territory of the capital.
