1300 people made use of the city tourist program “Yerevan City Tour” within the period from March to June
Both tourists visiting Yerevan and the residents make use of the program of the official city tourist route “Yerevan City Tour”. This year the official opening of the season took place on May 1 however taking into account the number of tourists and active tourism season “Yerevan City Tour” started its work from March. In March the capital was mostly visited by tourists from Iran.
According to the tourism unit of Yerevan Municipality, in the period from March to June within the frames of 60 tours 1300 tourists particularly from Russia, Iran, France, Germany made use of the program. The program is also very popular with the tourists from East Asia, especially from Chine. Attaching importance to the implementation of social programs, within the frames of “Yerevan City Tour” program the tourism unit also organized special sightseeing tours for children and schoolchildren from the RA provinces.
