Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan were present at the opening event of Yerevan book-house “Avetik Isahakyan”. The honour of opening the book-house located at the junction of Isahakyan and Teryan streets was given to Mayor Taron Margaryan, to the Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan and to the author of the book-house Arman Davtyan (Nur).

This initiative realized due to joint efforts of Yerevan Municipality and the RA Ministry of Culture will be long-term and within the scope of this initiative, similar book-houses named after eminent classical writers will be opened in other streets of the capital. It should be noted that this unique and important initiative is fulfilled through private investments. Only books and tickets for museums and theaters will be sold in the ook houses.
