11th tournament of Armenian Docando Federation dedicated to the memory of RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has started
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the opening ceremony of the 11th commemoration tournament of Armenian Docando Federation dedicated to the RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. 1000 athletes from Yerevan and districts of Armenia are taking part in this commemoration tournament organized for 11 years running. According to the persons in charge, this number is unprecedented.
The president of the International Docando Federation Gor Vardanyan and the president of the Armenian Docando Federation Hayk Vardanyan expressed gratitude to Yerevan Mayor for permanent assistance to the federation as well as for the contribution in organization and holding the tournament. They noted that the tournament organized since 2008 not only checks the physical readiness of children but is also aimed at instillation of patriotic and responsible attitude towards homeland in generations.
Within the scope of the opening ceremony the athletes of Docando Avan branch showed their martial skills.
