Annual festival “Golden pomegranate” is held in Moscow

The annual festival-fair of Armenian products “Golden pomegranate” was held in the RF capital from 14 to 17 of Moscow within the frames of cooperation program between Yerevan Municipality and Moscow Government.
The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Foreign Relations David Gevorgyan greeted the organizers, participants and guests of the festival on behalf of Yerevan Mayor and wished them good luck.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Russia Vardan Toghanyan, the head of the Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation and International Relations of Moscow Government Sergey Cheryomin, as well as the member of RF State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovski were present at the ceremony of opening of “Golden pomegranate”.
It should be noted that at the fair which is organized in Moscow at the initiative of the head of Yerevan Municipality representation in the RF capital Makar Nahapetyan traditional Armenian food products, carpets, handmade items, souvenirs, clothes were presented. The festival was accompanied by the concert program.
This year, within the frames of the festival the conference “Perspectives of trade and economical and cultural ties of Yerevan ad Moscow” was held.
