At the beginning of the working meeting Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan first of all referred to the case of dismantling the illegal construction in Nor Nork carried out this morning. He once again reminded that no construction will be carried out in the capital without building permission.
“The developers of the illegal construction in Nor Nork had no permission, they got a notification about their construction being illegal, even the decision on dismantling was made. Nevertheless, the construction was continued breaking the law every day, ignoring the requirements of the state and pubic. Such cases will be excluded”, said Hayk Marutyan.
To organize the process of properly tax collecting more effectively the Mayor instruct the persons in charge to notify the citizens once more about the requirement of the law so as to avoid further penalties and fines. We’d like to remind that in accordance with point 2, paragraph 13 of the RA Law “On Property Tax”, individuals pay annual property taxes within the determined order by December 1 of the reporting year, and in case of delays the taxpayer will have to pay penalties for each day of delay.
The department of the state traffic inspection of the RA Police was suggested to strengthen the strengthen the control over the terms of technical inspection checks. Referring to the problem of waste dumping the mayor instructed the heads of administrative districts and “Sanitek” company to keep under control sanitary cleaning of the garbage chutes in the blocks of flats.
At the end of the meeting the Department of External Design and Advertising, the heads of administrative districts were instructed to start preparations for New Year and Christmas decoration of the capital coordinating it with the Chief Designer of the city. The Department of Organization and heads of administrative districts were assigned to take necessary steps to provide the availability of wheelchair access to the polling stations during the snap parliamentary elections to be held on December 9, 2018.
